Those who know me well say that I’m:
- A HUGE sports fan!
- Someone who loves learning, people, and good food/drink.
- Committed to justice.
- Kind and compassionate but a zealous advocate.
I chose to become an attorney because (for non-attorneys – I chose to work in the legal field because…)… I love helping people. At the risk of sounding cliché, I believe a good attorney should help you solve problems. I understand clients come to us as a last resort, I want to help our clients solve their problems and preserve their family dynamics, assets, and any other interest they may have. The reason I practice Trust & Estate/Elder law litigation is because I had a personal experience that drew my interest into this area of law. When I am assisting my clients, I approach every situation with a unique point of view focused on my client(s) goals, wants, and needs. I also approach every situation with empathy because I understand the difficulty that my clients are facing and would like to overcome.
I believe that… justice is a human right.
I can… accomplish any goal if I dedicate my time and energy to it.
My greatest accomplishment… I graduated summa cum laude from Portland State University and I obtained by Juris Doctor from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, however, I feel most rewarded and accomplished when I help my family, friends, and clients overcome challenges in their life. Challenges in life are a near certainty. The counsel, comfort, and friendship someone receives in a challenging time can often be the reason for their success or failure. Being a good friend, counselor, and advocate make me feel most accomplished.
Quote me: “Winning is a habit, unfortunately, so is losing” – Vince Lombardi.
My next challenge… is to fly. No, seriously, my next challenge is to get my pilot license.
On my bookshelf: I enjoy reading biographies of successful and influential leaders.
Seven words that describe me: Genuine, direct, compassionate, fun, thoughtful, resourceful, and competitive.
One thing most people don’t know about me: Law is my second career. I was in sales management with T-Mobile for eight (8) years before I decided to pursue my dream of becoming an attorney.
I volunteer…wherever there is a need.
When I’m not working… I am watching sports, learning, or spending time with my fur-baby (dog) Rudy.
